From the lay-by drop into Jugger Howe Beck's ravine and climb out onto the open moor, following the Lyke Wake Walk line west to Lilla Cross on its Bronze Age howe. The sea is behind you and the radar station's pyramid ahead. Return the same way; the moor beyond is MOD land.
