Goathland Station

The Hogsmeade of the first Harry Potter film, and a Heartbeat location, on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway.

Goathland station was built in 1865 and restored to its 1920s condition, which is why film crews love it. It appeared as Hogsmeade in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone and as Aidensfield station in Heartbeat. There is a tea room in the old goods shed, and the Rail Trail to Grosmont starts from the platform end.
