Blakey Topping from Saltergate

Walk east from the car park along the old Saltergate road, then take the bridleway across Allerston High Moor towards the distinctive cone of Blakey Topping. Visit the standing stones at the southern foot of the hill and climb to the top, then return by the forest edge and the Old Wife's Way back to the road. Big views over the Hole of Horcum and Newton Dale.
