Thomason Foss

Thomason Foss is the second waterfall of the Goathland gorge, less visited than Mallyan Spout and prettier in some eyes, dropping into a deep pool in the woods a few hundred yards downstream of Beck Hole. The path starts beside the Birch Hall Inn, crosses the beck and follows the bank; the last section is rough. Combine with Mallyan Spout for a full waterfall day.
