Cod Beck Reservoir

Cod Beck is the easiest walk on the western moors, a 1.5-mile circuit on wide, well-surfaced paths with no steps or stiles around a reservoir fringed with pines. Watch for dippers on the outflow stream. The car parks are at Sheepwash on the lane between Osmotherley and Swainby, north of the reservoir, where the Cleveland Way crosses the beck.
