Hole of Horcum and Levisham Moor
A full circuit of the great amphitheatre with views into Newton Dale and a possible steam train below.
A hamlet of nine cottages in the Goathland gorge with one of the smallest pubs in the country.

Beck Hole is a cluster of stone cottages around a green at the bottom of the Eller Beck valley, reached by a steep lane or by the paths from Goathland. The Birch Hall Inn has two tiny bars separated by a sweet shop, serves beer through a hatch and has changed very little since the ironstone miners drank here. Quoits is played on the green in summer. Mallyan Spout and Thomason Foss are both close.
