Climb from Saltburn onto Huntcliff, once a Roman signal station, and follow the cliff edge to Skinningrove's beach and jetty. Beyond, the path climbs over Boulby Cliff, at 203 metres the highest point on England's east coast, and drops to Staithes. Return by the X4 bus.
