The centre at Danby Lodge is the main visitor centre for the northern moors. Inside are interactive exhibitions on the landscape and wildlife, the Inspired by... gallery of local art and craft, and a cafe. Outside are a wildlife garden, adventure play area and short walks along the River Esk. A good wet weather option and a starting point for exploring the Esk Valley villages.
