Farndale daffodil walk
Riverside stroll through the daffodil reserve to Church Houses and its pub.
Open-air museum of rescued moorland buildings: cottages, workshops, a chapel and a Victorian shop.

The Ryedale Folk Museum tells the story of everyday life on the moors through twenty reconstructed buildings set in six acres. There is a thatched cruck cottage, a manor house, an Elizabethan glass furnace, a blacksmith's forge, a village shop and a chemist's, all furnished as they would have been.
The collections include one of the best displays of witch posts in the country. Good for children, with dressing-up, traditional games and heritage breeds of poultry wandering the site.
