Mouseman Visitor Centre, Kilburn

Robert Thompson of Kilburn began carving a mouse on his oak furniture in the 1920s and the Mouseman signature is now found in churches and colleges across the world. The family firm still works in the village below the White Horse, and the visitor centre has a museum of early pieces, a viewing gallery into the workshop, a shop and a cafe. Look for mice in Kilburn church and in most churches around the moors.
