Flamingo Land
Theme park and zoo on the edge of the moors near Pickering, with roller coasters and 140 animal species.
Flamingo Land at Kirby Misperton is the big family day out on the southern edge of the moors, combining a theme park of rollercoasters and rides with a large zoo. It is about ten minutes south of Pickering and easy to combine with a day on the railway.
