Village games day with a hill race up the moor, tug of war, stalls and a duck race on Cod Beck.

Osmotherley's summer games have run since the 1960s: a fell race up onto the moor and back, children's races on the field, tug of war, a dog show and a duck race, with the pubs and the village hall doing a roaring trade.
