As part of Pickering's 1940s Weekend, the swing-dance crew Kingston Swing runs 45-minute Lindy Hop taster classes in the railway's Learning Classroom on Platform 2 at Pickering station. No experience or partner needed, as you rotate partners as you go. Wear comfortable flat shoes. Each class is booked separately and places are limited.
