The annual race across the 40-mile Lyke Wake Walk, with the fastest runners finishing in under six hours.

Run every July since 1964, the Lyke Wake Race sends runners from the Lyke Wake stone near Osmotherley over the Cleveland Hills, across the high moor and down to Ravenscar. Support crews meet them at the road crossings. Watch at the Lion Inn on Blakey Ridge, roughly half way.
