Guided walk: Battle of Byland (long route)

In 1322 Robert the Bruce's army routed Edward II's on the escarpment near Byland Abbey. This challenging walk (the National Park's hardest grade) visits the main locations with the historian Harry Pearson. Stiles, steps and steep hills. Bring lunch. No dogs.
