The fishing village opens its cottages as pop-up galleries for a weekend of art, music and heritage.

Since 2012 the Staithes Festival has turned the village into a gallery, with over a hundred artists showing work in cottages, boat sheds and chapels along the beck. There are talks on the Staithes Group of painters, live music on the harbour and heritage walks.
