Pick your own apples at Ampleforth Abbey
Saturday apple picking in the monks' orchard, one of the largest in the north
Ampleforth Abbey's orchards grow dozens of apple varieties, and on autumn Saturdays visitors can pick their own. The abbey also makes cider and apple brandy, and the tea room and shop are open.
